Barghausen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Barghausen was a small village that had already become desolate in the 14th century in what is today the district of Simmershausen , a district of the municipality of Fuldatal in the northern Hessian district of Kassel .

The place, west of the Fulda and northeast of Kassel , was mentioned for the first time in 1313, but is already described as abandoned in 1373. The village was a Plessian fief of Messrs Groppe von Gudenburg . Its exact location is unknown, but the field name Berxhausen mentioned in the Kassel Salbuch in the Simmershausen district in the direction of Frommershausen in 1539 indicates that the place was here.
