Bartosz Salamon (born May 1, 1991 in Poznan ) is a Polish football player . He is under contract with SPAL Ferrara and is currently on loan to Frosinone Calcio .

Career

Club career

Bartosz Salamon started playing football at Concord Murowana Goślina in 1999 before moving to the youth department in Lech Poznan in 2004 . He played for Lech until 2007 and was also briefly in the squad of the 2nd team before he was signed by Brescia Calcio in 2007 . Initially only intended for the youth team, Bartosz Salamon made his debut in the 2007/08 season at the age of 17 in Serie B for the northern Italians. However, he did not get beyond the role of substitute in his first three seasons in Brescia . For the 2010/11 season Salamon was loaned to Foggia Calcio , where he was a regular player and completed a total of 27 games in Serie C1 and scored two goals. After his return to Brescia Calcio, he was an absolute regular player and was one of the best central defenders in Serie B in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons . His talent was not hidden from AC Milan , which led him to the second half of the 2012 season / 13 for a transfer fee of 3.5 million euros. Bartosz Salamon signed a 4.5-year contract with the Milanese. Until the end of the season he was not used in the first team.

For the 2013/14 season Salamon moved to Sampdoria Genua . 50% of the transfer rights remained with AC Milan. Andrea Poli also moved to Milan on the same basis. In the 2013/14 season he was only two appearances in the Serie A and was the 2014/15 season at Delfino Pescara 1936 borrowed in the Serie B play. He made 36 league games and one goal for Pescara. For the 2015/16 season he moved to Serie B competitor Cagliari Calcio , where he is a regular.

With Cagliari, Salamon made it to Serie A , and played in this during the 2016/17 season . For the 2017/18 season , Salamon has been awarded to SPAL Ferrara .

National team

Bartosz Salamon went through all of Poland's youth national teams. He received his first nomination for the Polish national team from then national coach Franciszek Smuda at the end of 2010. On March 26, 2013, he made his debut in the World Cup qualifier (5-0) against San Marino for Poland. He played in the national jersey four more times, then dropped out of the team after an ankle injury. It was only in the run-up to the 2016 European Football Championship in France that he was brought back to the national team and included in Poland 's EM squad . He was one of five players in the squad who were not used.
