BasisDruck is a publishing company based in Berlin (Germany). His focus is on political non-fiction with the main themes of GDR and Eastern European history.

history

BasisDruck Verlag was founded in December 1989 by Stefan Ret and Klaus Wolfram as the first new publishing house in the GDR. From January 1990 the East German, opposition weekly newspaper the other appeared . The first book of the publisher's production I love you all! - Orders and situation reports of the MfS reached a circulation of 250,000 copies. Around 100 titles were published in the following years.

In 2000 the publisher ventured a new start with the “Pamphlete” series.
