Basketball is a popular sport in Serbia .

Basketball leagues

1A League

The 1st basketball league is also called Košarkaška liga Srbije with 12 teams.

1B League

The 2nd basketball league ( druga liga ) plays with 8 teams. Until the state union of Serbia and Montenegro was dissolved , there was a Montenegro group with 12 teams and a Serbia group with 14 teams.
