Baudilio Jáuregui , full name Baudilio Jorge Jáuregui , (born July 9, 1945 ) is a former Uruguayan football player and coach.

Player career

society

The 1.75 meter tall defensive player Jáuregui was considered a tough defender. He comes from Minas , where he first played for Nacional de Minas. He was also appointed to the Lavalleja departmental selection . In 1968 he made his debut at Defensor in the Primera División and was in the Montevidean squad until 1972. There he also took part in the club's 1972 tour of Mexico, Central America and Venezuela. Jáuregui moved to the Argentine club CA River Plate in 1973 and was a member of this until 1974. A station at Unión de Santa Fe followed in 1975 . 1976 to 1977 he was again active for the Uruguayan first division defensor. There he was part of the team that, under the leadership of coach Ricardo de León, succeeded for the first time since the introduction of the professional league in Uruguay to break the supremacy of Nacional and Peñarol and to win the Uruguayan championship . 1977 to 1978 he is said to have stood again in the ranks of Unión de Santa Fe. However, other sources know that he was involved in the Chilean club CD Cobreloa around this period , which is also confirmed without a more precise chronological classification. A station at Nacional is also listed for him. It is not clear whether this is Nacional Montevideo or the Nacional de Minas mentioned at the beginning.

National team

Jáuregui was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed nine internationals from his debut on May 31, 1972 to his last appearance on June 23, 1974.
