history

The single-storey, white farmhouse from the classicism period was built around 1816 with a gable roof and has undergone few changes. At that time (1812) the village had 443 inhabitants and only a few full and half farmers .

The house is a classic half-timbered house with uprights (posts) and horizontal bars (beams), but in a frame construction with only a few struts . The low German hall house with its typical Uhlenloch in the barely pronounced cripple hip is often found in the appearance of many villages in northern Germany and the Lower Rhine.

The enclosure is typical and remarkable with the iron grille and the gate between the brick entrance pillars.

Today (2018) the house is inhabited and a small hand weaving mill was founded there.
