geography
At the foot of the Bauersberg in the east are the Mömbris villages Frohnhofen and Strötzbach im Kahltal . To the southwest is the village of Rappach . The Bauersberg is bounded in the north by the Fleutersbach . The southern boundary is the valley of a brook that rises from the Antoniusquelle, at the former place of the no longer existing village Karlesberg . Above Rappach, the mountain goes flat to the Kleiner Mark near Molkenberg and on to the Hahnenkammback . Only the northern side of the mountain is forested. On the southern slopes of the Bauersberg there are orchards . From there, if the weather is good, it is possible to see the Geiersberg (586 m).
The streets Bauersberger Hohle and Am Bauersberg are named after the Bauersberg in Strötzbach .
