The Baulch Peak is a 1,696 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises eight miles north of Claydon Peak and marks the foothills of a rock spur that extends north from the Prince Andrew Plateau in the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after DeeWitt M. Baulch (1933-2010) from the United States Antarctic Research Program , who worked in 1958 as a meteorologist at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station .
