The Bauli SpA is an on baked goods specialist Italian food producers . The family business, based in Castel d'Azzano in the province of Verona , produces Italian holiday specialties such as panettone , Pandoro , Colomba and chocolate eggs, biscuits , croissants as well as other puff pastry specialties and snacks under the brands Bauli , Doria and Casarini .

history

The company was founded in 1922 by Ruggero Bauli. He ran a bakery in which he manually made the classic Pandoro, among other things. In 1950, Bauli decided to expand its production on an industrial scale while retaining the original recipes. In the 1960s, his three sons Alberto, Adriano and Carlo joined the family business. Under her leadership, the company expanded its activities. In 2004, Bauli took over FBF SpA, which specializes in puff pastry products with the Casarini brand, and in 2006 the traditional biscuit manufacturer Doria, which was founded in 1800. In 2009, Bauli took over Nestlé's baked goods division in Italy with the traditional brands Motta and Alemagna. In 2013, the company Bistefani was taken over, increasing sales from 420 million euros to 500 million euros.
