The Baup is a river in France that runs in the Ariège department in the Occitanie region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Estanque in the southern municipal area of Rimont , near the Col de Rille , generally drains towards west-northwest through the Pyrénées Ariégeoises Regional Nature Park and flows around 20 kilometers on the municipal boundary of Saint-Lizier and Saint-Girons as a right tributary in the salad .
