Bawani Khera ( Hindi : बवानी खेड़ा) is a small town in the northern Indian state of Haryana .
The city is located in the North Indian Plain, 120 km west-northwest of the federal capital New Delhi . It is the seat of the eponymous Tehsils in the Bhiwani district . The district capital of Bhiwani is located 18 km south-southeast of Bawani Khera. Bawani Khera is on the Bhiwani– Hansi railway line .
Bawani Khera has been a Municipal Committee since June 18, 1973 . The city is divided into 13 wards . Bawani Khera had 20,289 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The gender ratio was 880 women for 1000 men. Almost the entire population was made up of Hindus .
