Baworiw ( Ukrainian Баворів ; Russian Баворов Baworow , Polish Baworów ) is a village in the center of the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 680 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1522, other sources name the year 1411 or 1439, administratively belongs to the rural community Welyki Haji ( Великогаївська сільська громада Welykohajiwska silska hromada ) in the southeast of the Ternopil district .
The location situated at an altitude of 328 m on the shore of Hnisna ( Гнізна ), a 81 km long, left tributary of the Seret , 14 km south-east of the community center Velyki Haji and 20 km south-east of Rajon- and Oblastzentrum Ternopil .
