Beate Krum
Beate Krum (born November 14, 1957 in Baden-Baden ) is a German chess player and correspondence chess master .
Tournament chess
Krum started playing chess at the age of 18. In 1979 she won the Baden women's championship. In 2007 she won the German women's national team championship in Braunfels with the Baden women's selection .
For SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim she acts as the team captain of the first team that played in the 1st Bundesliga in the 2005/06 season . She is also a consultant for school chess in the district of Heidelberg.
Correspondence chess
In the early 1980s she qualified for the 12th German correspondence chess championship for women . Here she won the final in 1982/85 with 10 points from 12 games and thus became German champion. She also won against defending champion Juliane Hund .
