Beate Läsch-Weber

Beate Läsch-Weber (born January 1, 1957 in Bitburg , Rhineland-Palatinate ) has been President of the Sparkassenverband Rheinland-Pfalz since April 1, 2011 . From 1993 to 2011 she was district administrator for the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich and chairwoman of the board of directors of Sparkasse Mittelmosel Eifel-Mosel-Hunsrück (formerly Kreissparkasse Bernkastel-Wittlich).

Life

Läsch-Weber passed the Abitur in 1975 at the St. Willibrord High School in Bitburg. She studied law in Bonn , passed the first state examination in law in 1980 and the second state examination in 1983. Läsch-Weber was then, among other things, head of the municipal equal opportunities office in Frankfurt am Main and head of department in the Mainz State Chancellery . She lives in Heidweiler , is of the Roman Catholic denomination, married and has one daughter.

Läsch-Weber, who is a member of the CDU , was district administrator in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Bernkastel-Wittlich from 1993 to 2011 and was re-elected in 2001 and 2009 (term of office until 2017). The meeting of the Sparkassenverband Rheinland-Pfalz elected Läsch-Weber as its new president on July 2, 2010. Läsch-Weber has been a member of the DekaBank Board of Directors since April 7, 2011 .
