Beatriz Vaz e Silva , known as Bia , (born October 7, 1985 ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

society

From 2004, Bia played for several years at clubs in her home country, including the first division clubs Santos FC , Foz Cataratas FC and Ferroviária . She won the cup competition with Foz Cataratas FC in 2011 and even the double from the Brazilian championship and the Copa do Brasil with Ferroviária in 2014 . Since she was not part of the Brazilian squad that was preparing for the World Cup at the beginning of 2015 , she switched to the NWSL and joined the Boston Breakers together with her compatriot Rafinha .

National team

Bia debuted in 2010 in the Brazilian senior team and won with it the America Cup in 2014 . In preparation for the 2015 World Cup , she was temporarily part of the expanded Brazilian squad, but was ultimately not included in the final squad by national coach Vadão .
