Bechtery ( Ukrainian Бехтери ; Russian Бехтери Bechteri ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 3000 inhabitants.
The village was mentioned for the first time in 1799 and is located in the district of Hola Prystan on the territorial road T-22-16 10 km north of the banks of the Tendriwskabucht. It is the center of the district council of the same name and is located 78 km southwest of the oblast capital Kherson and 37 km southwest of the district center of Hola Prystan . To district municipality also includes the village located 7 km south from Nowotschornomorja ( Новочорномор'я ) ⊙ .
