action

Leslie Vernon seems like a likable young man. His outward appearance is well-groomed, he has good manners and an excellent sense of humor. His great passion alone is quite unusual: Leslie is a passionate serial killer. But this activity is not as simple as one might think, after all, intensive preparations are necessary for a shocking series of murders. It goes without saying in professional circles that absolute physical fitness is the basis for any successful teenage hunt. In addition, potential victims, preferably blonde buxom virgins, must be observed, doors manipulated and suitable locations selected. Of course, a self-knitted urban legend should not be missing , which already terrifies the future victims some time before their confrontation with the rascal; Leslie orientates himself very specifically on his great idols Jason Voorhees , Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger . If there are urgent questions, the "retired" serial killer Eugene is still there, who lives nearby with his attractive wife Jamie and always offers helpful tips. In order to cement his fame at an early stage, the future horror legend invites the three students Taylor , Todd and Doug to document his goings-on and above all his efforts, saying that the world has not the slightest idea of how strenuous his profession is be. The student film team accompanies him in all his preparations, scruples creep in late, especially with Taylor, who acts as moderator. Finally, his " Ahab ", the technical term in serial killer jargon for his great opponent, appears: his old psychiatrist Dr. Halloran, who is not allowed to approach him after an injunction . Everything is now ready for the big night. Leslie has prepared his property and the youngsters are on their way.

When Leslie Vernon kills his first victim in a prepared house, Taylor begins to question her documentary and breaks off the shoot. Now she and her team want to warn the young people. However, the "Survivor Girl" doesn't really fit in with Leslie's plan, she is neither a virgin, nor does she lead a virtuous life. In addition, the supposedly real "Survivor Girl" dies before she tries to leave the barn. Too late, Taylor realizes that she is Leslie's real victim. She is the virgin he was looking for and found. Leslie kills except for Dr. Halloran and Doug everyone in the house and then rushes after Taylor. Taylor is able to stop him and burn him in his tool shed.

While the credits are running, you can see Leslie's charred corpse standing up again.

criticism

Dry situational comedy, good performance and unobtrusively interspersed trivial culture quotes line an all-round entertaining top tip for horror freaks and friends of black humor. "
