The Belaja ( Russian Белая , "White River") is a left tributary of the Charysch in the Russian Altai region .

The Belaya rises on the northern slope of Tigirek-comb in the northwestern Altai Mountains near the Kazakh border. The Belaja flows initially in a north-westerly direction, later in a northerly direction. It finally flows into the Tscharysch, left tributary of the Ob. The river length is 157 km. The catchment area covers 1470 km². The mean discharge at the Bugryschicha gauge is 24.52 m³ / s. The months with the highest discharge are April (89.30 m³ / s) and May (101.73 m³ / s). The Belaja is a white water river with rapids of difficulty I. Rafting tours are offered on the river.
