Belinda Halloran (* 5. June 1976 in Canberra as Belinda Cheney ) is a former Australian duathlete , triathlete and two-time Ironman -Siegerin (2001 and 2005).

Career

Belinda Cheney started international triathlon at the age of eleven and reached third place in the junior class at the Triathlon World Championship in 1995.

She started her first long-distance triathlon in South Africa in 2000 (Ironman: 3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running). In 2001 she won the Ironman Malaysia and in 2005 she was able to repeat this success.

Belinda Halloran lives in Sydney with her husband Grant and their two daughters .
