Benbow Bullock

James Benbow Bullock (born February 6, 1929 in St. Louis - † March 12, 2010 ) was an American sculptor .

Life

Bullock holds a degree in economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown , Connecticut . Between 1997 and 2005 he was the curator of the "Di Rosa Preserve" in Napa Valley , California , USA . He regularly took part in group exhibitions. He held solo exhibitions in 1987, 1992, 1994, 1999 and 2008. One of his steel sculptures is in the Parco Sculture del Chianti near Siena . Bullock mainly worked as a metal sculptor .

Awards

Bullock won several awards with his works. In 1994 his work of art “Rainmaker” won 2nd prize at the 5th Annual Festival des Arts, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France.
