Benedikt Kauff (born July 25, 1985 in Mainz ) is a German actor .
life and career
Benedikt Kauff studied acting at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig and from 2009 to 2011 was part of the drama studio at the Dresden State Theater . Here he worked a. a. with the directors Tilmann Köhler , Holk Freytag and Frank Panhans . In 2010 he played in Tilmann Köhler's production of Horváth's " Italian Night ", which was awarded the Günther Rühle Prize for the best acting ensemble performance at the Bensheim Young Actors Week . Guest roles have taken him to the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden , the Theater der Jugend Wien and the Nationaltheater Mannheim . Under the management of Erich Sidler , Benedikt Kauff was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen from 2014 until the 2018/19 season . As a freelance actor, he regularly appears in front of the camera for film and television.
