Benedikt von Ahlefeldt (1546–1606)
Benedikt (Bendix) von Ahlefeldt (* 1546 ; † January 30, 1606 ) was the landlord of the noble estate Lehmkuhlen .
Life
Benedikt von Ahlefeldt was the son of the bailiff of Flensburg and noble landlord Bertram von Ahlefeldt (1508–1571) and his wife Dorothea nee. von Rantzau (* in Itzehoe), daughter of Povl von Rantzau (1481–1521). His wife Ollegard (1565-1619) was a daughter of Heinrich Rantzau , he married her in 1582. This marriage resulted in two children, Dorothea and the later diplomat and general Cai von Ahlefeldt . Von Ahlefeldt was bailiff von Steinburg , royal Holstein council, marshal and holder of the Dannebrog order . On May 3, 1580, he was awarded the Order of the Elephants in Copenhagen by King Frederick II of Denmark and Norway .
