Benjamin Jaworskyj
Benjamin Jaworskyj (born October 28, 1986 in Heidelberg ) is a German photographer , author , web video producer and former radio presenter for the Berlin broadcaster 93.6 JAM FM .
Life
Benjamin Jaworskyj grew up in Reilingen , where he attended the Friedrich von Schiller primary school up to fourth grade. In Hockenheim he attended the Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Gymnasium until 2003, which he left after the eighth grade after his parents separated and moved to Berlin with his mother and sister. In 2007 Jaworskyj graduated from the Bertolt-Brecht-Oberschule in Spandau and began studying at the University of Potsdam, which he broke off in 2008. He completed a moderation traineeship at the Berlin radio station 93.6 JAM FM Berlin and moderated various radio programs from 2010 to 2013, including a. Ben from Ten and the JAM FM morning show .
From 2007 Jaworskyj self-taught camera and image processing techniques , gave his first workshops soon afterwards, opened the YouTube channel “jaworskyjpictures” and published weekly online video tutorials. In 2019, more than 370,000 people followed him on this platform.
Jaworskyj has been working as a freelance photographer, video producer and entrepreneur since 2014. He became known for his landscape photography. They are characterized by strong colors and a clear composition . The motifs are often mountains, waterfalls and the sea. The technique that he mainly uses is long exposure . He regularly publishes photos of his travels on Instagram .
Since 2016 he has also been running an English-language YouTube channel, on which he also uploads video tutorials on all aspects of photography. One of his most famous video formats is "#jaworskyj Around the World", in which he goes in search of impressive landscapes all over the world. The 50-minute documentaries have been filmed in Scotland, South Africa, Norway, Australia and Germany since 2014.
In 2017 the first two episodes of Der Abenteuerfotograf ran on NDR . In these, Jaworskyj in the Harz and on the Müritz is accompanied by a film team from TV Plus . Two more episodes from East Friesland and Hamburg followed.
Jaworskyj writes and composes songs; In 2011 he wrote a few songs a. a. worked out with Dante Thomas .
