Benjamin Meschke (born January 12, 1991 in Plauen ) is a German handball player .

Career

Benjamin Meschke began with handball in his hometown Plauen, from 2005 he attended the sports high school of the SC Magdeburg . In the 2011/12 season, the 1.96-meter ran pivot player for the second division club HC Empor Rostock on, in the following season he moved to SV Post Schwerin , the Meschke left again after the bankruptcy of the club already in September 2012 and Eintracht Hildesheim joined . From the 2013/14 season he played for the Bundesliga club Bergischer HC , with whom he signed a two-year contract. From summer 2015 he played for the SC DHfK Leipzig . He extended his contract for another year in the 16/17 season. For Leipzig, he completed 102 games in which he scored 109 goals. For the 2018/19 season he moved to HBW Balingen-Weilstetten .

Meschke was part of the German youth and junior national team, for which he played over 50 international matches.
