Benjamin Mielke
Benjamin Mielke (born February 6, 1981 in Perleberg ) is a former German bobsleigh driver .
Benjamin Mielke, sports soldier from WSV Königssee , was active in bobsleigh from 2004 to 2010 . In 2005 Karl Angerer's pusher was the German junior champion in the four-man bobsleigh, in 2006 he was runner-up in the two and third in the four. In 2006 he won the Junior World Championships in the four-man bobsleigh. The best result in the senior category was second place in the four at the 2007 World Cup in Innsbruck / Igls , as well as twelfth place at the 2007 World Championships in St. Moritz .
Mielke was a track and field athlete until he switched to bobsleigh. In 1998 he won silver over 300 m at the German junior championships, in 1999 gold with the 400 m relay at the junior European championships, silver over 400 m at the German junior championships and in 2001 bronze at the German junior championships, again over 400 meters.
After her active career, Mielke became a undertaker with her own company in Bad Reichenhall , Bischofswiesen and Freilassing .
