Benjamin Proyer (born April 9, 1991 in Bochum ) is a German ice hockey player who currently plays for EHC Dortmund in the major league.

Career

Proyer started his career in the offspring of the Herner EV. 2003 he switched to the offspring of the EHC Dortmund. From the 2006/07 season, the winger was in the squad of the junior team of the Krefelder EV , with which he was active in the German youth league. After the right-handed shooter was only able to achieve six scorer points in 39 games in his first season , he continuously increased his points yield in the following years. Proyer scored more than 25 points in each of the following seasons.

During the 2008/09 season , the then Krefeld coach Igor Pavlov nominated him for the professional team of KEV. Proyer subsequently completed 14 DEL games for the Krefeld Penguins. In the summer of 2009, the right-shooter signed a contract with the upper division EHC Dortmund.
