Benno Reinhard

Benno Reinhard (born May 20, 1964 in Munich ) is a German jazz musician ( trombone , also bass trombone , tuba and sousaphone ).

Reinhard studied classical music at the Meistersinger Conservatory in Nuremberg ; Building on this, he studied jazz and popular music at the Stuttgart University of Music until his diploma in 1994, as well as trombone literature with Armin Rosin .

Since 1987 he has played with various big bands; he has toured with the Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra and also performed with the Erwin Lehn Orchestra . He belonged to various Swing and Dixieland formations, but also played with the Südpool formation . He is involved in recordings with the Bavarian Youth Jazz Orchestra, with Erwin Lehn ( Jazz & Swing , 1991) and the Big Band of the Stuttgart University of Music, with the Bourbon Street Ramblers and with the LE - Big Band . In addition, he participated in theater and musical performances.

Reinhard lives in Bönnigheim and also works at the municipal music schools in Weinsberg and Neckarsulm as an instrument teacher for deep brass instruments, keyboards and electric bass .
