Benthamiella azorelloides is a plant type from the genus Benthamiella in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Benthamiella azorelloides is a Chamaephyte whose leaves are 1.5 to 5 mm long and 0.5 mm wide and have a ciliate border. The calyx is almost bell-shaped, 3 to 4.5 mm long and has a ciliate border. The crown is tubular and 4 to 5 mm long. Their outside is hairy. The five stamens are of the same shape and protrude beyond the crown. The stamens are hairy at the base and set in the lower third of the corolla tube. The ovary has a visible nectarium . The stylus does not protrude beyond the crown.
distribution
The species is widespread in Patagonia , in the west Chubuts and grows there in steppes.

The species was first described in 1902 by Carlos Luis Spegazzini .
