Benthamiella sorianoi is a plant type from the genus Benthamiella in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Benthamiella sorianoi is a Chamaephyte whose slightly fleshy leaves reach lengths of 6 to 12 and widths of 1.5 to 2 mm. The leaf margin can be hairless or hairy. The calyx is bell-shaped, 3.5 to 4.5 mm long and hairy on the outside with glandular trichomes . The crown is 5 to 6 mm long, funnel-shaped and hairless. The five stamens are of the same shape and do not protrude beyond the crown. The stamens are hairless and set more or less in the middle of the corolla tube. The ovary has an inconspicuous nectarium . The stylus does not protrude beyond the crown.
distribution
The species is endemic to the steppes of Patagonia . It can be found in the southwest of Santa Cruz .

The species was first described in 1980 by Silvia Arroyo-Leuenberger . The epithet honors Alberto Soriano .
