Benzingen is a district of the municipality of Winterlingen in the Zollernalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg ( Germany ). The place is southeast of Winterlingen.

history

Benzingen is first handed down in 1220. The place belonged in the 12./13. Century the Count of Gammertingen and came after various changes of ownership to the County of Veringen .

In 1850 Benzingen became Prussian with the Principality of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen .

Around 1930 the hamlet of Blättringen was incorporated into Benzingen.

On January 1, 1975 Benzingen was incorporated into Winterlingen.
