Berezovo ( Ukrainian Березово ; Russian Березовое Berezowoje , Czech and Slovak Berezovo , Hungarian Berezna ) is a place in Khust district in the Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine .

The place is in the valley of the Rika and has about 3000 inhabitants.

Until 1919 the place belonged to the Empire Austria-Hungary or Hungary , afterwards as part of the Carpathian-Ukraine to Czechoslovakia . With the annexation he came back to Hungary in 1939–1945, from 1945 the place is part of the Soviet Union and since 1991 part of the Ukraine. In terms of administration, it forms the district council of Beresowo together with the villages of Honzosch and Rjapid .
