Bergisdorf was a village south of Leipzig , which in 1951 the lignite mining by open pit Deutzen (Force II) was a victim. In 1948 the place was incorporated into Lobstädt , with which the now recultivated town hall came to the municipality of Neukieritzsch in the district of Leipzig (Free State of Saxony ) in 2008 .

Bergisdorf was in the Leipzig lowland bay between Neukieritzsch in the north, Regis-Breitingen in the south and Borna in the east. The place was west of the Pleiße across from Lobstädt in the Borna district .

The current location of Bergisdorf is on the connecting road between Neukieritzsch and Regis-Breitingen (K 7931) north of the new location of Deutzen. It belongs to the Leipziger Neuseenland .

As early as 1551 Bergisdorf was under the jurisdiction of the official manor Lobstädt, to which the towns of Lobstädt and Görnitz continued to belong. The manor Lobstädt and its places were in the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office Borna until 1856 . The von Könneritz family owned the manor Lobstädt in the 15th and 16th centuries . From 1586 to 1823 it belonged to the Lords of Einsiedel , who had also owned the neighboring Großzössen manor since 1606 . In 1823 the lobstädt manor came to the Gessner, Scholber and skull families. On November 28, 1855, the jurisdiction over Lobstädt, Bergisdorf and Görnitz, which had previously been due to the Lobstädt manor, was transferred to the Borna Royal District Court . In 1875 the towns were placed under the administration of the Borna District Authority.

In 1910 the Deutzen opencast mine was opened south of the town. On September 1, 1948, Bergisdorf was incorporated into Lobstädt. In 1951, the Bergisdorf district was dissolved due to the Deutzen open-cast lignite mine. a. relocated to the Regis-Nord settlement . Then the hallway was devastated. The recultivated area is now near the connecting road between Neukieritzsch and Regis-Breitingen. She came to Neukieritzsch on April 1, 2008 with the incorporation of Lobstädts.
