Berhida is a Hungarian town in the county Várpalota in Veszprém County . The small town is about ten kilometers south of Várpalota and a few kilometers from the northeastern end of Lake Balaton .
history
Berhida was first mentioned in a document in 1082.
Attractions
The Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Cross dates from the 14th century. The high altar in the choir was installed in 1749.
