Bernard Emmanuel Kasanda Mulenga (born December 25, 1954 in Kananga ) is Bishop of Mbujimayi .

Life

Bernard Emmanuel Kasanda Mulenga was ordained a priest on August 6, 1981 . Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Utimmira and auxiliary bishop in Mbujimayi on February 14, 1998 .

He was ordained episcopate on June 14th of the same year by the bishop of Mbujimayi, Tharcisse Tshibangu Tshishiku ; Co- consecrators were Godefroid Mukeng'a Kalond CICM , Archbishop of Kananga , and Valentin Masengo Mkinda , Bishop of Kabinda .

On August 1, 2009 Benedict XVI appointed him . to the bishop of Mbujimayi.
