The diocese of Kabinda ( lat. : Dioecesis Kabindaensis ) is in the Democratic Republic of Congo situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Kabinda .

history

The diocese of Kabinda was on March 24, 1953 by Pope Pius XII. Established from the cession of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Luluabourg as Apostolic Vicariate Kabinda . On November 10, 1959, the Apostolic Vicariate Kabinda was by Pope John XXIII. raised to a diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Cum parvulum and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Kananga as a suffragan .
