Félicien Ntambue Kasembe CICM (born September 8, 1970 in Kabinda , Lomami Province ) is a Congolese religious and appointed Roman Catholic Bishop of Kabinda .

Life

Félicien Ntambue Kasembe graduated in 1988 with a diploma in biology and chemistry . In 1989 Ntambue Kasembe joined the religious order of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and completed the novitiate in Mbudi . From 1990 to 1993 he studied philosophy at the Saint Pierre Canisius seminary in Kinshasa . Subsequently, Ntambue Kasembe worked as a missionary in Taiwan , Hong Kong , Singapore and Mongolia for three years . In 1996 Félicien Ntambue Kasembe made perpetual profession . From 1996 to 2001 he studied Catholic theology in the Philippines and Cameroon . Ntambue Kasembe received on 12 August 2001, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

After being ordained a priest, Félicien Ntambue Kasembe first worked as a parish vicar and then as pastor of the parish of Saint Eugène in Kinshasa. In 2003 he became secretary to the provincial superior and rector of his religious community's branch in Kinshasa. He was also director of the Educational Research Center in Kinshasa from 2003 to 2007 and secretary of the Provincial Commission for Financial Affairs of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In 2007 Ntambue Kasembe was sent to Belgium for further studies , where he obtained a baccalaureate in law from the Université Notre-Dame de la Paix in Namur in 2009 and a master's degree in law from the Université catholique de Louvain in Louvain-la-Neuve in 2011 and a Masters in Human Rights from the Université Saint-Louis in Brussels . From 2013 to 2016, Félicien Ntambue Kasembe was Provincial Councilor of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Kinshasa, before becoming Delegate for Africa in the preparations for the General Chapter of his religious community. Since 2017, Ntambue Kasembe has been General Councilor of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

On July 23, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Kabinda.
