Valentin Masengo Mkinda

Valentin Masengo Mkinda (born December 10, 1940 in Kahako , Democratic Republic of the Congo ; † October 26, 2018 in Lutembo ) was a Congolese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Kabinda .

Life

Valentin Masengo Mkinda received on 15 July 1969, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 2, 1995, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kabinda. The Archbishop of Kinshasa , Cardinal Frédéric Etsou-Nzabi-Bamungwabi CICM , donated him episcopal ordination on February 18, 1996 ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Kabinda, Matthieu Kanyama , and the bishop of Luebo , Archbishop Emery Kabongo Kanundowi .
