Tharcisse Tshibangu Tshishiku

Tharcisse Tshibangu Tshishiku (born April 23, 1933 in Kipushi ) is former bishop of Mbujimayi .

Life

Tharcisse Tshibangu Tshishiku was ordained a priest on August 9, 1959 . On September 1, 1970, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Kinshasa and titular bishop of Scampa .

The Archbishop of Kinshasa , Joseph-Albert Cardinal Malula , donated him episcopal ordination on December 6th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Eugène Kabanga Songasonga , Archbishop of Lubumbashi , and Martin-Léonard Bakole wa Ilunga , Archbishop of Luluabourg .

John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Mbujimayi on November 26, 1991 . On August 1, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
