Bernd Kroschewski (born September 24, 1970 in Konstanz ) is a German snowboarder and Olympian (1998).

Career

Bernd Kroschewski was active in skiing in his youth and he started for SC Salem.

He has been one of the most successful German snowboarders since the mid-1990s. In 1997 he became world champion in slalom at the FIS first and last time slalom world championship.

At the 1998 Winter Olympics , he started in Nagano in the giant slalom.

He was a member of the national snowboard teaching team of the DSV and worked as head coach for the Snowboard Association Germany (SVD) in 2009 and 2010 .

He is a qualified engineer specializing in architecture .
