Bernhard Bolle

Bernhard Bolle (born August 9, 1888 in Münster ; † May 31, 1957 ibid) was a high school councilor and deputy head of the department for higher education at the Oberpräsident Münster .

Life

After graduating from high school in Münster in April 1907, Bernhard studied German, history and philosophy at the universities of Munich , Berlin and Münster . On July 23, 1911 , he received his doctorate in Münster and on June 12, 1912, he passed the scientific examination for teaching at secondary schools. After two years of preparatory service, he was appointed study assessor on October 1, 1914 and then worked as a scientific assistant teacher at the secondary school in Münster. He came to the replacement division of the 33/34 Field Artillery Regiment in February 1915 and had been a gunner in the war since May of that year. In July 1916 he became a lieutenant and resigned from the German army when demobilized . After the leave of absence, Bernhard was hired on April 1, 1919 as a senior teacher at the secondary school in Münster. Promoted to university advisor in 1920, in August 1933 he became a member of the committee of political shop stewards of the department for higher education of the upper presidium of Münster. Initially employed on a temporary basis in this department, he was appointed to the high school council on June 1, 1934, and in 1940 its deputy head. In a denazification process, Bernhard was classified in category V (exonerated) on August 24, 1948. He retired on April 1, 1949. He joined the NSDAP on May 1, 1933 and was a supporting member of the SS from January 1934 to July 1939 .
