Bernhard Obersteller
Bernhard Obersteller (born March 19, 1889 in Labiau / East Prussia , † July 5, 1972 ) was a German politician of the GB / BHE .
Life and work
Obersteller originally came from East Prussia . After the Second World War he came to Schleswig-Holstein as a displaced person and settled in Oldenburg in Holstein .
MP
From 1950 to 1954 Obersteller was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein for the constituency of Oldenburg-Ost . From February 9, 1951 until the end of the legislative period, he was chairman of the state parliament's labor committee. The Landtag elected him a member of the second Federal Assembly , which on July 17, 1954 re-elected Theodor Heuss as Federal President.
