Bernhard Raab

Bernhard Raab (born March 17, 1966 in Karlsbad ) is a German soccer coach and former soccer player .

Career

Bernhard Raab played in the Bundesliga with Karlsruher SC from 1987 to 1990 and made 31 Bundesliga appearances during this time, in which he scored three goals. He moved from SV Langensteinbach in the summer of 1987 to the amateur division of the Bundesliga promoted Karlsruher SC. On the eleventh match day of the 1987/88 round he made his Bundesliga debut in the away game at Borussia Dortmund . He came on in the 37th minute for winger Helmut Hermann and scored the 2-0 winning goal for Baden in the 80th minute. The 1.68 m tall wing racer completed 17 games for KSC in this round and scored two goals. 1989/90 he ran in the 2nd Bundesliga for KSV Hessen Kassel in 22 games in which he scored four goals and from 1992 to 1999 he was active at SV Wehen in the Regionalliga , where he scored 7 goals in 99 games.

From 2006 to 2008, Bernhard Raab initially worked as a player, then as a player- coach at the Wiesbaden club FV Biebrich 02 . In July 2008 Raab became head of the youth performance center at SV Wehen Wiesbaden . In April 2009 he also took over the position of interim manager at SVWW after the previous manager Uwe Stöver had been dismissed. From summer 2011 he worked for the Premyer Liqası team Sumqayıt PFK in Azerbaijan . Since April 2014 he has been working at 1. FC Heidenheim as head of the youth training center. In July 2014, he also took over as a coach for the A-Juniors of 1. FC Heidenheim.
