Bertram Kaes

Bertram Kaes (* 1958 ) is a game inventor living in Ravensburg and also organizer of the Ravensburg Plays event .

After working as a commercial employee at Ravensburger Spieleverlag and inventing successful games for internal events, he was commissioned to invent more games. In the years that followed, he invented numerous well-known board games such as the Deutschland-Rallye , Das Hippopotamus in der Achterbahn , Nobody is perfect and a new game plan for the game Malefiz . In 1989 he founded his own company, the Funtasy Factory , in which he still employs other employees and which has been based in Ravensburg since the beginning. Since its inception, he has produced more than 50 other games, not just from theRavensburger AG , but also used by companies like Aldi , BMW , IKEA and Mercedes-Benz for advertising purposes.

Another product of his work is held annually in late summer in Ravensburg Spielefest plays Ravensburg . From the first game festival in 1989 until 2004, the organization was in the hands of Bertram Kaes' company Funtasy Factory.
