Beschiw ( Ukrainian Бежів ; Russian Бежов Beschow ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 600 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in 1608, is the only place of the 21,088 km² district council of the same name in the east of Chernyakhiv Rajon . Beschiw is on the river Bystrijiwka ( Бистріївка ) and on the territorial road T-06-05 and borders in the east on the urban-type settlement Holowyne . The Chernyakhiv Rajon center is 12 km southwest and the Zhytomyr Oblast center 35 km south of the village.
