Beschorneria wrightii is a species of the genus Beschorneria in the subfamily of the agave family (Agavoideae). The specific epithet wrightii honors Charles Henry Wright , Assistant at the Herbarium of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew .

Beschorneria wrightii makes stems about 45 centimeters long. Their rosettes consist of about 50 densely packed, large leaves . These are spread out or bent back, sword-shaped, fairly stiff, and fleshy along the midrib. The glauke leaf blade is 60 to 150 centimeters long and 5 centimeters wide. It is roughened towards the tip, broadened at the base, very thick and convex on both sides. The long brown, stiff tip is narrowed. The leaf margins are roughened very narrow and deeply serrated.
The pyramidal, rather slender and richly branched inflorescence reaches a height of 120 to 200 centimeters. The tall shaft is bright red, the bracts are egg-shaped. The flowers appear in clusters. Their (weakly) downy-haired tepals are greenish and fade to yellow.

Beschorneria wrightii is common in the Mexican state of México .
The first description by Joseph Dalton Hooker was published in 1901. Beschorneria pubescens A. Berger (1906) is included in the species as a synonym .
