Besskorbnaya ( Russian Бесскорбная ) is a stanitsa ( Cossack village ) with 5,921 inhabitants (14 October 2010) in the Krasnodar region in Russia .
Besskorbnaja, the second largest stanitsa of the Novokubansky rajon ( Новокубанский район ) after Sovetskaya , is located at an altitude of about 335 meters above sea level on the left bank of the Urup , a tributary of the Kuban . The Rajonverwaltungszentrum novokubansk is 55 km to the northwest, beyond the 40 km away, not belonging to Rajon city of Armavir .
The village of Novowoskressenski belongs to the rural community of the same name (Selskoje posselenije) in addition to Stanitsa. The name of Stanitsa is derived from bes skorbi ( без скорби ; in German without sadness ), referring to the name of the first church built there in 1866, which was the Mother of God , an icon of all mourning joy , which was particularly respected in the Russian Orthodox Church ( Vsech Skorbyashchich Radost) was consecrated.
