The Besturn B30 is a compact class sedan from the Chinese brand Besturn .
history
A first near-series concept vehicle was presented at the Shanghai Motor Show in April 2015, the series vehicle debuted at the Chengdu Auto Show in September 2015. The sedan has been on sale in China since the end of November 2015 . The B30 was developed between 2013 and 2015 based on the VW New Bora . In 2011, it was anticipated that the vehicle would use the design of the FAW Go concept vehicle presented at Auto Shanghai 2011. Since 2017 it has also been built in Iran by Bahman Group, the vehicles are built from CKD kits. The FAW Junpai A70 is based on the B30.
It is unclear whether the model has been called Bestune B30 since the name was changed from Besturn to Bestune .
B30 EV
In October 2017, the manufacturer presented the B30 EV, a variant with an 80 kW (109 PS) electric motor . With a 24.8 kWh battery, Besturn promises a range of 230 km at a cruising speed of 60 km / h. The sedan has a top speed of 140 km / h. The maximum torque is 228 Nm. The drive is also used in the Junpai A70E.

In the combustion engine variant, the car is powered by a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 80 kW (109 hp). A 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission is used as the transmission .
