The Besturn X80 is an SUV from the Chinese car brand Besturn .
history
In 2011, at the Shanghai Auto Show , the Besturn X Concept , the first concept vehicle similar to the design of the X80, was presented. The production vehicle celebrated its world premiere at the Shanghai Auto Show 2013, and on May 16, 2013 it went to dealers in China . On September 23, 2016, a facelift for the vehicle was presented at a press conference in Yinchuan , Ningxia Autonomous Region . Since 2017 it has also been built by Avtotor from knocked-down kits in and for Russia.
X80 Sport
The X80 Sport came onto the Chinese market in September 2014 . This can be recognized by a red stripe in the grill, tinted windows and red brake calipers . It is powered by the turbocharged 1.8-liter gasoline engine known from the B70 and B90 , with a maximum output of 137 kW (186 hp). A 6-speed automatic transmission is used as the transmission .
Technical specifications
At the market launch, the car was powered exclusively by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with manifold injection and a maximum output of 108 kW (147 hp). This engine is optionally available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 2.3-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 118 kW (160 hp) was also available for the vehicle until 2014.
