The Bestune T77 is an SUV from the Bestune brand belonging to the Chinese motor vehicle manufacturer China FAW Group .
history
The SUV was first introduced in Beijing Auto Show in April 2018 as a concept car Bestern T-Concept . The production model debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2018. Since then, the T77 has been sold in China. It is the first vehicle that FAW is marketing under a new international name "Bestune" instead of "Besturn". The Chinese brand name (奔腾, Chinese: Bēnténg) remains unchanged.
infotainment
As a special feature, the manufacturer offers the vehicle with a holographic assistant. This wizard offers three characters, one of which is represented in a prism on the dashboard . It supports the driver in essential functions of the vehicle and is addressed using voice control . Initially, 43 functions should be executable - for example changing the volume of the radio or switching on the windshield wiper .
Technical specifications
At the market launch, the SUV will be powered exclusively by a supercharged 1.2-liter gasoline engine with a maximum output of 105 kW (143 hp) and gasoline direct injection . This engine is optionally available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7- speed dual clutch gearbox . In 2020 a gasoline engine with a turbocharger, 124 kW (169 hp) maximum output and 1.5 liters displacement followed.
