Friedrich Tellemann

Friedrich August Tellemann (I) (born December 24, 1790 in Harkerode , † May 25, 1872 in Naumburg an der Saale ) was a German lawyer and politician.

Tellemann was the son of the postmaster Friedrich Wilhelm Tellemann and his wife, a née Nebelung. He married on February 10, 1820 in Walbeck Anna Freiin von der Bussche-Lohe (born September 26, 1801 in Walbeck, † January 12, 1876 in Naumburg), the daughter of Wilhelm Christian von dem Bussche and his wife Sophia Louise Elisabeth Countess of Schlitz gen. Von Görtz, used. by Raoul. His brother Ernst Wilhelm Tellemann, born in 1798, became a judicial commissioner and lawyer. To distinguish the two brothers, Friedrich Tellemann added the name suffix (I) in official documents.

Tellemann studied law and became a judicial commissioner at the higher regional court district of Naumburg and was a lawyer in Naumburg. He had the title of a judicial councilor (in official documents he is also referred to as a councilor).

In 1850 he was a member of the state house of the Erfurt Union Parliaments . From 1852 to 1854 he was a member of the Second Prussian Chamber . He was awarded the Red Eagle Order, 4th class (1850) and 3rd class (1860).
